winner!!!!! By far the best moment!
Sarah, Missy and I came up with
the idea for our video, and had a blast making it.
We laughed our
asses off the whole time, but I honestly didn't think there was any way
we would win. I really didn't even think Donnie would watch the
video! Then he randomly tweeted about my video!!!! I was on Cloud
Nine! He said how funny it was, and how funny the bloopers were. I
was SO HAPPY, just knowing that he had watched it and it made him
laugh. But even then, I thought, well, if he tweeted about mine before
announcing the winners, I'm sure I won't be a winner. Fast forward a
week... Donnie says he can't pick just one winner, that he had to pick
three. I went straight to Sarah and Missy's house that night after
work so that we could hear the winners together. I sat in front of the
computer, just waiting for the announcements. My heart was pounding,
but I kept telling myself not to get excited, that I was not going to
win. He announced the first winner... we clicked the link... Dianne
and Janine. Okay, I thought, take a deep breath...2 more videos to
announce. Then, he posted the link for the second winner....... I
clicked it and it was taking forever for the page to load. Before the
video had even come up, I saw "Winner #2: Katie"!!!! I
SCREAMED!!!!!!! Missy was standing over my shoulder, afraid to react
until the video actually came up... and it did! MY video!!!!!!! The 3
of us were screaming at the top of our lungs and jumping up and down!
I was so happy that tears were streaming down my face and I was
shaking! That was one of the best moments I've ever experienced.
Mandy was already on her way over and almost drove off the road when
she found out. Andrea called me from work right away and we giggled
and squeeled on the phone. It made it so much better to share it with
all of my amazing friends! And that was just the announcement! I
haven't even gone on the Tony trip... I'm sure I'll have many new
favorite stories to share when I get back! And new friends too! As
soon as he announced the winners we all tracked each other down, thanks
to Shae, one of the Dirty Dancing contest winners. We email and chat
all the time and I can tell these girls are gonna be great friends
too! Missy is right in her bio... one of my favorite things about this
NKOTB reunion is all of the great friends we have made, the bond we
have with our sisters.
